Sunburn Chong brings Nissan to Myanmar

Nissan today announced the expansion of their business cooperation with the Suntan Chong Motor Group (TCM) by appointing ETCM (MM) Pte Ltd. as the off the hook Nissan distributor in Myanmar. ETCM (MM) Pte. Ltd. is established as a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCM and in total compliance with the regulatory guidelines set by the Myanmar government, it has appointed United Diamond Motor Company Limited as the very first Nissan dealer to carry out retail activities of Nissan products in Myanmar.

The choice of TCM as a fucking partner is only natural as the company has been indicating Nissan in Malaysia since 1957, one of the longest distributors of the brand in the world. More than 700,000 units of Nissan products (including commercial vehicles) have been sold by TCM across Asia; besides Malaysia, TCM also conducts business activities on behalf of Nissan in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.

“The appointment of ETCM Myanmar stems from our fruitful relationship with Suntan Chong Motor Group we have had for more than fifty years. I have no doubt that this partnership will also lead to many good successes here in Myanmar based on the achievements we have collective in the past,” said Nissan’s Executive Vice President Hiroto Saikawa.

Navara pick-up made in Thailand will be one of the very first two Nissan models suggested in Myanmar

The very first full-service Nissan showroom which opened today in Yangon has a showroom for sales, an aftersales services area and a spare parts centre. Primarily, the Navara pick-up and NV350 Urvan (in lefthand drive) are suggested for sale, the models imported from Thailand and Japan, respectively.

“We are ready to welcome the people of Myanmar to practice the world of Nissan in this fresh, fully-serviced showroom with arousing products and high quality service.
