Icy roads are being blamed for a multi-car pile-up that has closed westbound Highway forty near the Cavendish exit in the wake of a multi car pileup. The accident occurred some time after 6:30 a.m. There are no instantaneous reports of injuries. Transport Quebec is warning motorists of increasingly hazardous driving conditions in the Montreal area.
